Oprah elevates colorectal cancer awareness … with a little help from Olympus.
On Monday, October 29, 2007, The Oprah Winfrey Show highlighted a Chicago Firefighter’s colonoscopy experience. Nate, the firefighter, had been hesitant to get a colonoscopy because his brother died at 35 from colon cancer—the same age Nate is now. After being convinced in an earlier Oprah episode to have the procedure, Nate returned to share his experience.
